The PRI Responsible Investment Programme was a six-month initiative that equipped participants with a strong understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations in investment decisions. The programme followed a three-stage approach, beginning with Stage 1, which consisted of in-person training sessions.
Stage 1 Details
The first stage (Group B) took place on 12 February 2025, at Securities Commission Malaysia. The session accommodated 25 participants, including IIC members and non-members.
The training provided a foundational understanding of Responsible Investment (RI) and its key principles. The morning session covered theoretical aspects, while the afternoon session focused on case study applications. This structure ensured that participants gained practical insights into ESG integration in investment decisions.
Subsequent stages reinforced this knowledge through Stage 2, which included self-paced e-learning, and Stage 3, which featured an RSQ session for follow-up discussions and industry updates.
